An extract from Dance With Whoever You F**ing Want To (2023), a ballet commissioned by West End composer and producer George Stiles, choreographed by Stuart Winter and Tracing Movement. The music explores social dance and the dissolution of gender binaries, rooted in traditional folk structures, blitzed with a neoclassical soundscape of electronic textures and fiddles. The piece reflects my approach to composition: melody and sonic world working together to carry emotional and cultural weight beneath the surface of movement.
